About The Project
Fun & Accessible
We took a lot of inspiration from the Windie brand and the design of the app itself. We wanted to mimic the colors, playfulness, and ease of use of the app and translate that into the site. With those core goals in mind, we built out an easy to navigate, easy to use site that parallels the experience you would get by using the app itself.

Long-Scroll Structure
We decided to use the single page "long-scroll" style website as it allowed us to provide the necessary information without carrying the bulk of a multi-page site. This allows the user to easily navigate the content ultimately being able to purchase the app itself. The "long-scroll" structure seamlessly translates to the mobile platform and functions great on any device.

Highlighted Features
As phone apps are here to make our lives easier, we wanted to carry that purpose through the website's features. Organized content flow, plenty of white space, and animated content gives the user the chance to get the information they need with as little user input as possible. Windie's key features:

As seen below, the automated mockup was a great information delivery system that helped our goal of minimal effort by the user to gather the maximum amount of information. Also, by pushing the content on and off screen, we can provide a larger amount of information without the sensory overload.
